Frequently Asked
Questinons

  • What file types do you accept?

We accept DXF files for all 3-axis cutting projects. Please ensure that all shapes are fully enclosed, with no open curves, branches, or overlapping lines.

While PDF and other vector formats are accepted, they may require additional preparation work to meet cutting requirements.

  • What is the smallest radius you can cut?

The minimum internal radius our machine can cut is 0.021 inches.
If your design includes internal square corners, they will automatically be cut with a 0.021” radius.

  • Can I include different materials or thicknesses in one file?

No. For best processing, please submit separate files for each combination of material type and thickness.
    Example:

    • One file for ¼” steel parts

    • Another file for ⅛” aluminum parts

  • What is your standard material sheet size?

We cut from sheets that are 48” x 96” (4 feet by 8 feet).
If you need parts larger than this, please contact us directly to discuss custom options.

  • How should I prepare my DXF file?
    • Use only closed, clean paths (no overlapping or intersecting lines)

    • Remove any text, dimensions, or layers not meant to be cut

    • Group all like-material and like-thickness parts in the same file

    • Include a cutting outline only — no fills or hatching

    • Double-check your file for scale accuracy

  • How quickly can I expect a quote or turnaround?

Quote times may vary depending on the complexity and size of your project. However, we strive to respond within one business day.
Turnaround time is typically based on:

    • Material availability

    • Quantity of parts

    • Current job queue
